How to report
Contact Healthlink Pharmacy if you suspect that a medicine has caused an unwanted reaction. You do not need to be certain that the medicine was responsible.
Use the patient portal for the details of your report. You can also email orders@healthlinkpharma.com or choose Side effect report in our contact form to ask the pharmacy to follow up. Keep a public-form or email enquiry brief; do not attach medical records or identity documents.
Details that help
When you speak with the pharmacy or submit a detailed report through the portal, provide what you know:
- The medicine name, strength and dose, and when you started using it.
- What happened, when it started and whether you have recovered.
- The batch number and expiry date, if you have the packaging.
- Other medicines taken around the same time, including non-prescription products.
Include your order reference and a way to contact you. Do not delay a report because some details are missing. A suspected reaction does not establish that a medicine caused it.
After your report
The pharmacy reviews the information and may ask further questions. Where reporting requirements apply, relevant information is passed to the appropriate medicines-safety authority or the company responsible for the medicine. See the Privacy Policy for information about personal data.
Reporting a reaction is separate from getting treatment advice. Contact your prescriber or pharmacist about what to do next with your medication.
Reporting in Europe
You can also report a suspected side effect directly to the medicines-safety authority in your country. The European Medicines Agency’s reporting guidance explains how to find the appropriate reporting route.
Product concerns
For damaged packaging, the wrong item or a concern about storage temperature, choose Product quality concern in the contact form or contact us through the portal.
Keep the product and packaging, including any cooling materials. Ask the pharmacy or your prescriber before using medication that may be damaged. If a dose is due, seek prompt advice about continuing your treatment.
